Abbottabad City and it's History



Abbottabad City:

Abbottabad city is known as the most beautiful city of Pakistan it is 120 km north of Islamabad that is the Capital of Pakistan. Abbottabad City is the capital of the Abbottabad district in the Hazara region of KPK (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) Province. Urdu and Hindko are known as the regional languages of Abbottabad



History of Abbottabad:

Now let's talk on the history of Abbottabad. Abbottabad is founded by Major James Abbott in January 1853 and after James Abbott its name is Abbottabad.

James Abbott also wrote a poem titled "Abbottabad" on the Abbottabad city to show his love to his city Abbottabad and his sadness on leaving Abbottabad

Weather of Abbottabad:

 Abbottabad is at the height of 1256 m from the sea level. It is known as a very cold area as it is on the north side of Pakistan. The weather of  Abbottabad is very pleasant weather all four weather are in Abbottabad city here is one picture of Abbottabad in which all four weathers are shown


Education:

Abbottabad has the highest literacy rate in all over the Pakistan it's on 1st number in Kpk and second rank in all over Pakistan. Abbottabad is also known as the city of schools and colleges. Many students who have come from all over Pakistan for studying in its schools
Abbottabad has a high variety of schools colleges and universities such as Ayub Teaching Hospital, Comsats University, Abbottabad University of Science and Technology, University of Engineering and technology.

Tourism:

Most important thing of Abbottabad is that it have many vista points and Abbottabad is the attraction point for all the tourist. Abbottabad is known as the Vista point of Pakistan. The areas for tourists are Nathia Gali, Muree, Ayubia, Naran, Thandiani, Shimla Hill, Abbottabad Chair lift and many other points are there in Abbottabad.

Karakoram Highway one of the Biggest road of Pakistan that starts from Hasan Abdal and pass through Abbottabad to khunjerab border of Pakistan and China.
